Accordiing to media outlets like TMZ, Benzino (Raymond Scott) was shot going to his mothers (Mary Scott) funeral. According to the article an argument between family members ending in Benzino getting shot and he was rushed to South Shore Hospital with non-fatal injuries and is listed in critical condition.

They have confirmed that the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Benzino was shot by his nephew Gai Scott, during Benzino mother’s funeral procession. Scott,36, was arrested by Plymouth police and charged with assault with intent to murder. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz issued a statement and said, ”At some point when the cars were side by side, Gai Scott fired several shots into the red Dodge SUV being driven by Raymond Scott.”
