Miami, FL – The massive anticipation into the biggest compilation Miami has ever seen held the release party this past Monday (October 12). It was a phenomenal sight to see literally almost all of the 305 and 954 under one roof. Heavyweight and up and coming artists definitely made their presence felt as they attended the event with their own entourage. It was predicted to be a star studded event with epic proportions and that’s precisely how it went down. You already know, if it’s a Poe Boy event, it’s certified to be huge and successful.

Fans and media were lining up at the door at the prestigious King of Diamonds as early as 11pm. Several artists were already beginning to make their way as the night slowly began its course. T-Pain and Tay Dizm arrived early in a orange hearse making his entrance a sight to seen by everyone in front of the club waiting to get in. The red carpet itself was swarming with cameras and photographers as the media worked the door awaiting celebrities’ and artists’ arrivals.

Around 12 and 1am, Poe Boy and Strong Arm arrived to the building alongside other heavyweights from Iconz and other labels, some even independent. In the building, artists like Brisco, Billy Blue, Flo Rida, Git Fresh, Ballgreezy, Ace Hood, Suthun Boy, Gorilla Tek, Unda Surveillance, Piccalo, and Rich Kidd all behind the ringleader of the entire event CEO E-Class himself. Heavyweight DJs like Entice, Sam Sneak, Teflon, Nasty, and Kronik were even in the building; however it was Nasty, Kronik, and Teflon that held it down on the ones and twos as the artists began performing on stage. The Iconz, Suthun Boy and Gorilla Tek, hit the stage and made their presence felt before Poe Boy was begin their set. Suthun Boy performed his hit off the album ‘Live from the 305.’

The Opa Locka Goon commenced the Poe Boy set as he approached the stage to roaring fans. There’s was no doubt in anyone’s mind who they came to see. Mista Mac even performed his hit single ‘Drop That’ with Bris, Flo, and Greezy right beside him. After a couple of songs, the whole Poe Boy label then came on stage to show support to their label brethrens. Billy Blue definitely made his presence felt as he performed a couple of his many hits he has circulating throughout the city, the streets, and the nation. Quite possibly the biggest hit in the streets right now, Black Shades seriously got the crowd to their feet as Bris, Blue, and Greezy exploded onto the stage performing the song for an excited crowd of hundreds.

All in all, the release party for the album of the year was a spectacular event with a successful turnout. I’m quite sure everyone enjoyed themselves and an interesting topic of conversation for days after.
